【写真も大切 A photo is also important.】

以前のエントリーでこのような事を述べた。
〇日本人はシャイ
〇だから宴会やパーティーでもちょっとした仕掛けが必要
〇それはビールと名刺だ
〇ビールを注ぐ、名刺を渡す、という手続きで人脈を拡げるべし


さて、今回のエントリーではビール、名刺に次ぐ、道具を提案したい。

それは写真だ。

名刺をもらっても翌日になると誰が誰やら分からなくなる。
それを防ぐために宴会終了時に皆で記念写真を撮る。

そうすると誰が誰か判明する。
分からなかったら、分かる人に訊けば良い。

顔、名前、ポジションが分かっていれば、
次から何のためらいもなく話しかけることができる。

結論：人脈を拡げる三種の神器はビール、名刺、写真だ

In the previous blog, I said as follows:
Generally, Japanese people are shy.
Therefore, they need some tips for networking at a party.
What is important for them is beer and a business card.
This is because pouring beer is a good excuse to speak to someone.
Also, exchanging business cards is helpful to memorize someone's name.

Now, I propose a third tool following beer and a business card.

That is a photo.

Sometimes, I can't recall the names of the participants the next day.
To avoid this terrible situation, I say "Let's take a photo together" at the end of the party.

Then, I can tell who's who with that photo.
If I still can't remember the name, I can ask someone who knows it.

Once I know the person's face, name and position, I can talk to him/her without any hesitation.

Conclusion: You need beer, a business card and a photo for networking at a party.
